Homeopathy is a treatment system that has been used around the world for more than 200 years. Instead of changing the body's biochemistry with medical interventions (eg prescription drugs), Homeopaths work with the body's built-in healing abilities using remedies which come in a liquid or tablet form. Remedies are made from animal, vegetable, mineral and other sources. They are made into 'energy prints' which re-tune the body and help it function at its best.
There are no drugs in Homeopathic remedies so they are safe for pregnancy, babies and children. They do not interact or antidote ordinary drugs (though they may make ordinary drugs unnecessary in time).
In order to decide on a remedy, a Homeopath asks lots of questions, not just to understand the problem but to understand the way the person experiences the problem. This is why the first appointment is longer than the follow up.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a practice that has evolved over thousands of years. There are various techniques that are involved, both psychological and physical approaches such as Acupuncture, Fire Cupping as well as herbal products to address health issues patients may be facing.

Chinese Acupuncture is based on the belief that Chinese acupuncture can restore the flow of QI which is an energy that flows through the body. Chinese acupuncture can help with things such as pain, stress and anxiety relief, the overall health and well being of the body and many more.

There are many other techniques that are practiced, these include but are not limited to things such as:

Fire Cupping: Fire cupping is a form of pseudoscience in which suction is created on the skin with the application of heated cups. There are many benefits to fire cupping which include relieving stress by engaging your parasympathetic nervous system. Your parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for slowing the heart rate, increasing circulation by expanding the blood vessels, and encouraging the blood to flow to the areas under the cups. Fire cupping allows less restriction and more free movement as opposed to myofascial cupping. Fire cupping uses glass cups and a flame to create suction on the skin where as myofascial cupping uses plastic cups to increase the blood flow but cups often do not move as freely.

Traditional Chinese Herbs and other herbal supplements that may be beneficial to you and help aid with issues you may be facing will be discussed with the practitioner at appointments as these vary and truly depend on the issue.

All consultations take place virtually. Thank you for your understanding.

I graduated from a four year Licentiate course at South Downs School of Homeopathy in Chichester, United Kingdom in 2004. I made the big move to Saskatoon, Canada in 2012.

I live with my husband who is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and our rescue dog Daisy. Most of our days (and some nights) are spent researching natural solutions for acute or chronic symptoms. I began to use Homeopathy myself as a child and later with family and friends. It was good to be able to treat common conditions without the use of drugs.

I am particularly interested in how a person responds mentally and physically to all aspects of daily life from big to small and trying to reflect patterns in these in my prescribing.

Homeopathy cares for the soul; we are doing soul work. It is a natural health treatment that can be used to treat a very wide range of illnesses. The remedies are usually given in tablet or liquid form, they are non-toxic and safe to use for all ages, newborns to the elderly and during pregnancy. You can also take them alongside other conventional medications.

I often incorporate Tapping (otherwise known as the Emotional Freedom Technique) into my practice and I also use muscle testing.

If you’d like to learn more, Gaia has a wonderful series on Homeopathy and how it works (nine episodes): www.gaia.com/series/real-immunity

Regarding health insurance coverage, please check with your own insurance provider prior to your first appointment. Clients have insurance coverage with many different insurance companies and different plan details. For expense claims, I am registered with NASH (the North American Society of Homeopaths) and the Canadian Society of Homeopaths (CSH).

Testimonial:

Last summer (2023), I tore my rotator cuff and bicep muscle significantly. The doctor informed me surgery was quite likely my only outcome. Then I decided to call Linda. Linda put me on a strict regime of alternating several tinctures for a couple of months, taking them on a daily basis. By the end of the two months, I was able to have range of motion in my shoulder and bicep again without experiencing severe pain. I no longer require surgery, and my physiotherapist is impressed with my healing! I credit Linda for my recovery.
